social media etiquette
I intended not to rant when I thought about writing this then I realised I was so kidding myself.
Social media is both technology's gift and curse to the world. I am on a good number of these social media sites and lately people having started infuriating habits on these media sites.
We are well aware that you have run out of decent reading material, you are too bored to watch a series that can boost your intelligence and get your brain some much needed exercise.
In all your idleness, you go surf porn pages and post pictures, links, videos on our pages.
Just to remind you how this thing works; when you post your garbage on your wall, it actually appears on mine.......and I happen to be friends with my family and colleagues at work. So when you get the text that you are blocked, don't call to find out why; it was pretty obvious.

Facebook has come up with a new icon where you can post what your are doing, eating , how you are feeling ... murder just. I am not certain if I want to know the contents of your meals or what you are doing. Are you anyone worth following? Are you going to change someone's life by letting us know how you feel? in short, if it's not news worthy then don't tell us.( I happen to be guilty of posting those smileys...)
If you want to know how nosy people can be, then just change your relationship status; even the friends you haven't talked to in like forever will comment and ask you watsup. It's my life and on that note, people, don't change your relationship status just to get our attention and to remind us of what a mess ours are or what we are missing.
Then of course those who put up posts hoping to get comments....that's called attention seeking. If you want advice ask for it directly: "Guys I am in a fix with such a problem, help me out" other than post something like "...having a boring day" and you expect people to comment or like.
On the other hand not everyone is interested in your opinion on their pages. take for example a mutual friend to a friend of yours expresses their view on a matter that he/she doesn't really have all the facts......
The point is not that every post needs a comment.
Study people before you accept their friend request or follow someone lest you end up with a dude that likes child
porn.
Tighten your privacy settings and allow only family and friends access to your wall. in fact with Facebook posts you can control who gets to see a particular post. e.g your wild night out will be apportioned to be viewed by your friends and not your boss and parents.
Block, unfriend people who litter your wall with crap...
